Day 2

Here I am, on the morning of day 2. YaY!

Getting through the first day is always so hard, but I'm also a little worried because I remember the last time I tried the MC I had the worst time on day 5. I was just over it, hungry, and bored already with the lemonade. I will be much more prepared this time, I have grapefruits to juice in case of emergency! That is where the MC/ juice fast comes in.

I'm still a bit sick this morning, just don't feel great, and feel a little hungry. I don't usually drink any lemonade until noon, after I've gone to the gym, so I'll post back later.

In the meantime, I want to introduce you to my wonderful dog Marley. She's a puggle (bug and beagle mix) in case anyone is curious. I'm sure you'll be hearing more about her...

DAY 1

I wanted to make this a separate post from my first introduction post.

So today is Day 1. I feel fine not really, hungry, as I'm in the middle of a small cold. I have a sore throat and feel tired, so liquids would be the best choice naturally, even if I weren't fasting.

I forgot to write a little background info on myself in the intro. You might guess that I live in Hawaii from the pictures and name of my blog but in fact I live in Southern California. I was raised in Toronto, Canada and I am attending fashion school out here in Cali. Before this I spent 3 amazing years in Hawaii where I first entered University right out of high school. I wish that this fashion school was also in Hawaii because I never wanted to leave, but unfortunately I had to relocate to chase my dream.

California is great though, perfect weather, it's just so, so nice. I could see myself here for a while, but one day I will find myself back in Hawaii for good. That is where my heart is and will always be, so until the day comes where I live there again, I'll just live raw aloha here!

Intro

Well hello there, this is my new blog.
I started this blog to kick my ass into gear and finally adopt the lifestyle that I've been wanting for the past 6 months. I want to eat mainly raw foods. It would be amazing if I could eat 100% raw foods everyday, forever, but I don't want to put that kind of pressure on myself. A mainly raw diet with a few cooked choices here and there is cool with me.
So to kick this off, I'm starting the Master Cleanse. I need some kind of cleanse, otherwise I'm going to crave crap food. This is going to be difficult, but I know I gotta do it. I'm taking one for the team, or, my body.
Hopefully in time I'll become a full blown raw/vegan.

Who knows, only time will tell.
wish me luck!
